With its auspicious goal to produce competent and efficient human resource that can be instrumental in conservation and management of biodiversity, environment and natural resources and  development of rural communities, the IOF-PC, with the help of its enthusiastic teaching faculty and spirited staff, has always endeavored to ameliorate its academic environment and administer well designed educational programs that can address the current needs of the country  and the globe in forestry and allied fields. It is committed to satisfying student's quest for knowledge and pragmatic skills that will make all the difference in their professional career. The IOF-PC is currently running the following academic programs:

  1. Master of Science in Forestry
  2. Master of Science in Natural Resource Management and Rural Development (NRMRD)
  3. Master of Science in Watershed Management (WM)
  4. Master of Science in Community Forestry (CF)
  5. Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Forestry

Beside regular academic programs, it also conducts short-term national and international training and workshops in Forestry and allied subjects.

Housing: Dormitories and Apartments

The IOF-PC is a residential campus with almost all the students living in hostels and most of its teaching faculty and administrative staff living in apartments. Recognizing the role of living environment outside the classroom in students’ total education, the IOF-PC maintains environment conducive to their broad intellectual growth and greater participation in the life of the academic community. It has 9 hostels for male students and two for female students. Each of the hostels has a lounge and recreational areas for socializing, recreation and relaxation. Housekeeping service is provided by the IOF, General Administration.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Faculty and Admin Staff Housing

The IOF-PC has apartments of to accommodate its faculty and staff. These apartments are classified five types from “A” to “E”, depending on their sizes and facilities they are equipped with. The General Administration Section of the IOF-PC manages them and distributes them according to the ranks of the faculty and staff members.

 “A” Type of Apartments

These are 2-storeyed 3 bedroom apartments with 2 baths, 1 kitchen, 1 living-cum dining room, and 1 store room.

 “B” Type of Apartments

These are 1-storeyed 2 bedroom apartments with 1 bathrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 living-cum dining room, and 1 store room.

“C” Type of Apartments

These are 2-storeyed apartments of 3 bedrooms with attached baths, 2 bedrooms with separate baths, 1 kitchen, 1 living-cum dining room, and 1 store room.
