With its auspicious goal to produce competent and efficient human resource that can be instrumental in conservation and management of biodiversity, environment and natural resources and  development of rural communities, the IOF-PC, with the help of its enthusiastic teaching faculty and spirited staff, has always endeavored to ameliorate its academic environment and administer well designed educational programs that can address the current needs of the country  and the globe in forestry and allied fields. It is committed to satisfying student's quest for knowledge and pragmatic skills that will make all the difference in their professional career. The IOF-PC is currently running the following academic programs:

  1. Master of Science in Forestry
  2. Master of Science in Natural Resource Management and Rural Development (NRMRD)
  3. Master of Science in Watershed Management (WM)
  4. Master of Science in Community Forestry (CF)
  5. Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Forestry

Beside regular academic programs, it also conducts short-term national and international training and workshops in Forestry and allied subjects.

Campus Visit by Registrar and Fiscal Administration Division of TU

Prof. Dr. Peshal Dahal, Registrar, TU along with the team members of Fiscal Administration Division of the TU visited the campus premises on April 17, 2021. The campus administration briefed on the campus activities along with achievements and challenge it is facing to the Registrar and the team.

On the same day, the Fiscal Administration Division, TU has organized one day interaction program on Budgetary Information System at Pokhara for the campus chief and head of fiscal division of the constituent campuses of Gandaki province and Palpa district. The program remains very fruitful for all the participants to understand on various issues of the campuses and receive the guidance and directives from the Registrar and the Fiscal Administration Division with regard to budget preparation and its effective implementation.

Prof. Binod P Heyojoo, Campus Chief appreciated for organizing the very useful program and expressed happiness to see the TU’s initiatives towards digital governance system and adding TU-BIM as a major step forward for efficient and real-time online budget preparation and implementation.
